ABOUT

The Vigneron profession first appears in the Terrien family tree in the 1700s when we lived in the Loire valley. Bêcheur was also one of our occupations, which is to say we shoveled dirt for a living. As bêche is a spade and terre means earth, winemaking just seems inevitable. Bêcheur is also slang for pretentious arrogant snob.

This branch of the 21st Century Terrien family makes wine in California. Specifically, we make Chardonnay from Sonoma and Pinot Noir from Marin.

Also, in Maine, we make BLUET, a wild blueberry Méthode Champenoise and Charmat method sparkling wine.
